On the 1901 English census Saverio is wrote as Seviro and Palombella is phonetically spelt as Polombella. Another classic example of what the Anglo-Italian researcher is up against.

1881 Gore Directory.

Angelo Palombella registed as a greengrocer in Westminster Road. Once again Palombella wrote as Polombella.

Frank Palombella living in Brisbane Street, Kirkdale and recorded as a Sugar worker, Saverio Palombella had been dead for two years, his daughter Annie who lived with him at 5 Brisbane Street had remarried to a Paul Steen who is now recorded at this address.

Francis Palombella recorded on the crew list of the City of Lancaster ship docked in New York 1940.
